EXTENDED APPOINTMENT ACCESS PROVIDED BY WIGAN FEDERATIONS WORKING TOGETHER

The Wigan GP Extended Hours now offer appointments with Nurses for a variety of services and reviews between 18.30pm and 20.00pm weekdays and between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Saturdays. To get an appointment during these times, Wigan Patients can ring 01942 482848.

Appointments with the Nurse are for:- Smears, Contraception pill checks (not depo provera injections), Long term conditions, COPD Reviews, Asthma Reviews, Diabetic Reviews (bloods to be done a few days before the review), Peripheral Arterial Disease Reviews, Ischaemic Heart disease Reviews (bloods to be done a few days before), Stroke Reviews, Atrial Fibrillation Reviews, Heart Failure Reviews.

Wednesday Appointments  4pm to 6.30pm - please ring 01942 482848 to arrange a routine appointment during these times.  This will be at one of the hubs and not at the Bridgewatre Medical Centre.  The GP wil be able to have access to your medical records.
